It seems the On/Off button doesn't work when I push it. The On/Off will work only after pushing for 5 seconds. This is designed to avoid unintentional touch.

Why does the compressor stop and restart automatically? This is because of the logic of how refrigerators work. The compressor will stop or restart to work after the internal temperature reaches or is higher than what you need.

Why does the temperature on the LED always change? The temperature displayed on the screen is the actual temperature inside the cabinet, not the temperature selected. When the fridge compressor works/stops in a cycle, the cabinet temperature should change accordingly.
